STEPS OF YOUR ARBITRATION PROCESS

I.          Commencement of Arbitration: Case Filing Stage
  1. Any party to a dispute may submit a completed Request for Arbitration to commence an arbitration process.
    1. Case Manager reviews the filing documents.
    1. If Case Manager determines to accept, a confirmation is sent, otherwise the Request is declined.
II.       Case Initiation Stage
  1. Arbitrator(s) selected and invited to serve.
    1. Arbitrator(s) reviews case information, checks for conflicts of interest and returns signed oath, with disclosures, if any.
III.     Arbitrator Appointment Stage
  1. Parties notified of appointed Arbitrator.
    1. Objections to appointed Arbitrator due date set.
      1. If objection received, party opinions are gathered and decision is announced
      1. If removed, back to Step II;
    1. If Arbitrator confirmed, continue to Step IV.
IV.     Preliminary Hearing Conference Call Stage
  1. Preliminary hearing scheduled.
    1. Preliminary hearing held:
      1. Hearing date set;
      1. Document Exchange schedule set.
    1. Scheduling Order sent to the parties concerned.
V.        Hearing Stage
  1. Hearing conducted or Documents received and confirmed.
    1. Arbitrator confirms no further proofs or witnesses.
VI.     Award Stage
  1. Hearing Closed and Award due date set.
    1. Arbitrator’s Award sent to parties.
    1. Case Closed.
